Chime of Memory Hoop Earrings

By Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Eunmi Han of Le Conte Jewelry, the Chime of Memory #1 Hoop Earrings are layered with pink enamel with illustrative gold details, with a delicate ruby inset on the front. These hoops are secured with 14k gold butterfly backings for a half-hoop look.

Hypoallergenic, made for wear in healed lobe piercings with 14k solid recycled gold.

Inside diameter - Approx. 18mm.
Outside diameter - Approx. 21mm

Rubies are a precious gemstone mineral corundum, specifically a deep red shade of the mineral influenced by the amount of chromium in its structure. All other shades of corundum are known as Sapphires. Compared to other colored precious gemstones, rubies command the highest price per carat.

They have a remarkable hardness close to that of diamonds, a 9 on the Mohs scale.

Ruby is the birthstone for July and the gem for the 15th and 40th anniversaries.
