About

From Pupil Hall, the Crystallized End featured a floating tapered amethyst in bright purple, wrapped in a band of gold with an in-set prong diamond.  Hypoallergenic, made with 14k nickel-safe gold. Made for wear in piercings.

Amethysts are deep-purple gemstones and the most valuable color of the mineral quartz.

They are approximately a 7 on the Mohs scale of hardness.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February and the gem for the 6th and 17th wedding anniversaries.
