These statement earrings from Marla Aaron are one of our favorites. These gold earrings come with double-sided Carnelian and Rhodolite Garnet oval lozenges that can be removed (see the video we've included in the product images!) and mixed and matched with different lozenges and discs from the designer.

The earrings themselves are easy to wear and insert/remove yourself with a strong clicker mechanism. Marla's earrings are lovingly handmade in 18k Yellow Gold.

• RHODOLITE - Garnets are a group of silicate based gemstones of different mineral compositions, but with similar structures. They are most often known for a warm orange-red color but can vary across greens, pinks, and even blues. Different shades of garnets are known as species, such as rhodolite and Almandine, and some garnet colors are combinations of multiple species.

Garnets are 6.5-7.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness.

• CARNELIAN - Carnelian is a stunning reddish-brown semiprecious stone, a variety of the silica material Chalcedony. Its color comes from impurities in the stone of iron oxide. The use of the stone predates the Early Neolithic period.

Carnelian ranks at a 6.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness.
